THRIVE LIVE SYNCHRONOUS SESSIONS
YES! STUDENTS STILL HAVE TO ATTEND CLASS EACH DAY!

THRIVE prides itself on the support and connection between teachers and students, which all prove to increase student overall success in various forms of learning, not just virtual education. This is why THRIVE requires full-time and blended students to attend a LIVE SYNC session for all core courses taken. LIVE SYNC sessions provide students the opportunity to interact with teachers and peers via the Zoom platform. Similar to a classroom setting, each session offers real-time lessons and activities that will support the student alongside the online portion of the curriculum. You can’t get better than a LIVE teacher!
PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS
All students in grades K-12 enrolled in the THRIVE full-time or blended programming will be required to attend the LIVE SYNC session for core classes each week. Attendance is mandatory and will be taken for each session and reported to the home district.
*Although sessions are offered in the morning and afternoon, juniors and seniors who have DOCUMENTED scheduling conflicts with the LIVE SYNC schedule will be able to apply for the ASYNC programming. Common conflicts include career tech schedule, course on campus conflict, parenting teen, and a full-time working student.
